It never ceases to amaze me the lengths politicians will go to avoid committing on a goal the majority of Mississippians feel we need to reach, Voter ID. The Secretary of State has taken the initiative to try and get the people to force the issue and make it something we vote on. Over the last year or so it has become painfully clear that sending non violent law breakers to prison is neither cost efficient or rehabilitative.
